Ripple has introduced Ripple Mint, a platform for institutional access to the RLUSD stablecoin. Organizations can use one interface or API to mint, redeem and manage digital dollars without separate manual workflows for each operation.

RLUSD is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, a New York-chartered trust company. Ripple presents the service as an operational layer for businesses using stablecoins in payments, trading and treasury management.

Ripple Mint does not make RLUSD issuance open to everyone. Access is designed for eligible institutions and retains identity, regulatory and transaction checks. The launch reflects a broader shift in stablecoin competition: adoption increasingly depends not only on networks and reserves, but also on efficient minting, redemption and integration with corporate systems.
