Brale ION Targets the Stablecoin Liquidity Problem Across Chains

Brale launched ION Protocol, an infrastructure layer for moving stablecoins across blockchains through a burn-attest-mint model. Launch partners include Solana, Monad, Rain, Coinflow, Turnkey, Spark and Canton.

The problem Brale is targeting is familiar in every multichain market: stablecoin liquidity fragments across networks. To make an asset work everywhere, issuers and partners often need liquidity pools, bridges, slippage tolerance and risk management for multiple representations of the same asset.

ION proposes a different approach. An asset is burned on the source chain, then... Read more

AAA Creates a Web3 Arbitration Panel for Smart Contract Disputes

The American Arbitration Association launched a dedicated Web3 Panel for disputes involving smart contracts, blockchain, digital assets, tokenization, decentralized systems, agentic commerce and autonomous transactions.

Coldcard Mk3 Warning Puts Bitcoin Self-Custody Back Under Pressure

Coinkite warned Coldcard Mk3 users about a potential risk affecting seed phrases generated on certain firmware versions. Industry reports connected the warning to analysis of a large Bitcoin sweep from an older wallet, while the company said its investigation was continuing.

The main lesson is not panic. It is operational reality. A hardware wallet reduces dependence on exchanges, but it does not make self-custody automatically safe. If a seed was generated in a vulnerable way, later using a newer device may not fix the original seed problem. Read more
