Glacis Labs raised a $6.8 million seed round led by Lightspeed Faction, with participation from Franklin Templeton, Coinbase Ventures and others. The funding is meant to scale ZeroDelta, a multichain clearinghouse that the company says has settled more than $1 billion in digital asset volume across over 40 chains.

The important part is the clearing model. As stablecoins, tokenized securities and RWAs grow across many chains, institutions need netting, audit trails and final settlement controls, not only bridges. ZeroDelta aims to match and settle flows without turning every movement into a separate cross-chain transfer.

The second-order risk is operational trust: clearing layers reduce fragmentation, but they also become critical points in the settlement workflow.

Next, watch institutional counterparties, volume quality and whether ZeroDelta expands from stablecoins into securities and FX.
