XDC Tech announced an integration with Bridge, the stablecoin infrastructure company owned by Stripe. The integration gives developers building on XDC access to fiat on-ramps and off-ramps, virtual accounts and multi-currency custody.
XDC presents the first use case as stablecoin settlement for businesses, with a longer-term angle around AI agents that need to pay other agents, companies or users directly.
This matters because agentic payments need more than fast blockchains.
They also need compliant fiat entry, identity controls and account structures that can connect software actions to real money movement.
The second-order risk is authorization design: if autonomous agents can trigger payments, spending limits, audit trails and recovery rules become part of the product.
Next, watch sandbox adoption, developer tooling and whether real invoices or payouts settle through the integration.
